Your buyers ask AI. It names someone else.

Half your buyers now open ChatGPT, Perplexity, Claude or Google's AI answer before they open a search results page. They ask the question your best landing page was written to answer. They get one paragraph back, with two or three companies named in it.

If you are not one of them, nothing shows up in your analytics. No visit, no bounce, no form. The deal was decided before you knew it existed. That is what makes this expensive — it is invisible in every dashboard you already have.

What that costs, in dollars

Take the buying-intent questions in your category — the "best X for Y", "X vs Y", "how do I do Z" questions your sales calls always start with. Say there are fifty. Say each one, when it names you, is worth one qualified conversation a month, and one in five of those closes at your average deal size.

Now count how many of the fifty name you today. Most sites I check are under ten, and nobody there knew the number before I ran it. The audit turns that guess into a list with names, engines and dates on it.

What I do about it

I run the questions your buyers actually ask across six engines — ChatGPT, Perplexity, Gemini, Claude, Google AI Overviews and Grok — and record who gets named. Then I read the answers and work out why the engines picked the companies they picked, on your topic, this month.

That produces a fix list ranked by what each fix is worth, not by how hard it is. Usually it is unglamorous: the page that answers the question does not exist, or it answers in the wrong shape, or the engines are blocked from reading it at all.

Then, if you want, I do the fixing.

Why me

I built the engine that runs these checks, for myself, because nothing on the market answered the question the way I needed it answered. It is not for sale and you will never be asked to log into it. What you are buying is the reading of the results, which is the part software still does badly.

The writing is the rest of the argument — three dozen pieces on how these engines actually choose sources, published as I learned it, with nothing held back for a paid tier.

Start here

Send me your site and the three questions you most want to be named for. Within a day I will tell you whether an audit is worth your $490 — sometimes the answer is obvious from your homepage and you should just go fix it yourself.
